Schizophrenia in the US. It is the product of Hisamitsu Pharma.
Before Secuado®, Asenapine
was approved only as sublingual tablets (Saphris®) in the US. Asenapine
sublingual tablet (Saphris®) contains Asenapine in the maleate salt
form while Secuado®(Asenapine Transdermal system) contains Asenapine
in the free base form.
